Beach flags in Costa del Sol

With summer time, holidays and time to enjoy the beach life, it is very important you know the meaning of the local flags on the beach.
Here is a classic example, the courtesy of “Protección civil” from Manilva:

Green = Safe to bathe
Yellow = Bathe with caution especially with children
White = Jellyfish warning
Black = Closed beach

Tickets to Baños de la Hedionda

You can start to book your tickets to visit Baños de la Hedionda in Casares for the months of July and August. The entrance to its dome is still free, but it is limited to max. 25 persons per visit to preserve its great historical and natural value as well as maximaze the security of its users.
These natural baths are well known as it is where Julius Caesar supposedly was cured of a liver complaint, thanks to the sulfuric waters that still pour out of the local spring. Definitely a must on your TO DO list.

New Russian Orthodox church being built near Estepona

It will be the first Russian Orthodox church building in Andalucía and only the third in Spain.

The budget for the construction on the new site is over 1.1 million euros, less than the original four-million-euro project proposed for Marbella, and the money is being raised through donations.

Estepona town hall has granted rights to use to land for 75 years free of charge as the foundation is a charitable organisation.
